ד"ר ויינשטוק הוא יליד ברוקלין, ניו יורק. הוא השיג את תואר הדוקטור לרפואת שיניים במכללת רפואת השיניים של אוניברסיטת קולומביה. לאחר מכן, הוא סיים התמחות בכירורגיה אוראלית ומקסילופציאלית במרכז הרפואי וודהול בשיתוף עם בית הספר לרפואה של אוניברסיטת ניו יורק. ד"ר ויינשטוק הוא בוגר של הוועדה האמריקאית לכירורגיה אוראלית ומקסילופציאלית וחבר באגודה האמריקאית לכירורגיה אוראלית ומקסילופציאלית.
